"Today, two trains departed from Kharkiv in the direction of Lviv, one at 09.00 and one at 13.00. About 200 Azerbaijani citizens were sent on these two trains," Honorary Consul of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv, Ukraine Afgan Salmanov told APA.
The Honorary Consul said that about 1,100 Azerbaijani citizens have left Kharkiv since the situation escalated. These Azerbaijani citizens were provided with free tickets based on the appeal of the Honorary Consulate to the Kharkiv regional administration and other relevant agencies: “Currently, the situation in Kharkiv is tense. But despite all this, we are trying to support the evacuation of Azerbaijani citizens."
