Russia will achieve the goals it has set in its special military operation in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a meeting with deputies of the eighth convocation of the State Duma, APA reports.
"Russia will achieve the goals it has set during the special military operation. All the Russian people and the entire society support the participants of the operation," Putin stressed.
The Russian president said his country is currently operating in a period when a new world order is being formed and that Russia's fate is at stake today.
According to Putin, the number of sanctions imposed by the West against Russia has reached a record high, but these restrictions are both ineffective and harmful to the countries that initiated them.
The Russian president added that his country is capable of responding to all hostile actions taken against it.
