Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had a phone conversation, President Zelenskyy noted on X, APA reports.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy has provided Chancellor Scholz with detailed information about the battlefield situation in key directions. The parties also discussed further defense cooperation.
"I am grateful to Germany for its significant contribution to Ukraine's defense capabilities, particularly in strengthening our air defense. German assistance saves human lives every time Russia launches a terror attack," Zelenskyy noted.
"We also talked about preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024 and the concrete agreements that could be reached there," he said.
He noted that during the phone conversation, the parties talked about preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024 and the Peace Summit.
