“Our participation in the format in which the country occupying the territories of Georgia is also represented is an exception,” Chairman of Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said as he commented on Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s statement regarding Georgia's participation in the 3+3 format, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports.
The speaker noted that the preconditions of Georgia are known to Russia and it is the liberation of these territories from occupation.
"The first step is the liberation of Georgian territories from occupation. This is not the first time we hear such statements from Russia. Our position is clear to them," Papuashvili said.
