The UK will double the number of Ukrainians eligible to come to Britain to 200,000 under family reunion rules and open a new community sponsorship scheme to resettle refugees, APA reports citing
The family reunion criteria will be widened to allow people living in the UK to bring in parents, siblings, adult sons and daughters and grandparents. This extends the visa concessions announced on Sunday, which applies to children, spouses, civil partners and unmarried couples if they have been together for at least two years.
Boris Johnson said it will double the number of Ukrainians able to come to the UK under the temporary visa concessions from 100,000 to 200,000.
