Tehran. Suleyman Farzaliyev - APA. Iran will increase the production in the joint gas fields with Qatar by March 2017, Managing-director of Pars Oil and Gas Company Ali-Akbar Shabanpour said at the press conference.
Shabanpour added that the works in the South Pars gas fields will be completed by 2020: “Iran will produce 820 million cubic meters of gas in the South Pars field in 2020”.
According to him, 6 new platforms will be installed in the field by March 2017: “These platforms will allow Iran to increase gas production by 100 million cubic meters”.
