"Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan will sign an agreement on exporting "green energy" to Europe," Uzbekistan's Minister of Energy, Jo'rabek Mirzamahmudov told APA.
"I would like to congratulate Azerbaijan for organizing such a major international event at such a high level. This truly demonstrates Azerbaijan's commitment to climate change and the green economy. Moreover, COP29 provides not only the opportunity to meet people and discuss issues but also to initiate new projects. We are very pleased that tomorrow we – Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan – will sign an agreement on exporting green energy to Europe," the Minister emphasized.
He recalled that after Azerbaijan liberated its territories from occupation, Uzbekistan was the first to build a school in Fuzuli: "This truly demonstrates how much Uzbekistan values cooperation with Azerbaijan and how close we are as brothers. Our cooperation in trade, transit, and energy continues to grow and accelerate, and thanks to the relationship and support of our presidents, this collaboration will expand even further."
