Commercial oil reserves in the United States increased by 5,202 thousand barrels and amounted to 421,168 thousand barrels, APA-Economics reports, citing the report published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) under the Department of Energy.
According to the information, earlier analysts had forecasted that U.S. commercial oil reserves would decrease by 2,500 thousand barrels.
