Within the framework of the 2nd phase of the European Union’s “EU4Energy” project, a seminar for media representatives was held on October 23–24, jointly organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Energy Market Regulatory Agency (EMRA), and the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER).
At the media seminar, participants were provided with detailed information on the role of the media in informing the public and increasing transparency in energy policies. Local and international experts shared their experiences with the main challenges faced by the energy sector and the measures planned to address these challenges.
During the seminar, the most important aspects of energy regulation were examined, including the structure of the energy sector, tariff setting, service quality, and studies on energy efficiency, as well as the EU’s best practices.
The event also emphasized the necessity of close cooperation between energy experts, government agencies, and the media to ensure effective communication.
