The "INMerge" Innovation Summit has transformed from a vision into action, said Jalal Gasimov, CEO of PASHA Holding, at the 5th “INMerge” Innovation Summit held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that this year's summit brought together more than 5,000 participants, over 150 speakers, 100 startups, and more than 80 venture funds. Gasimov emphasized that the first Investment Forum held yesterday demonstrated how capital and partnerships can accelerate growth.
According to him, Central Eurasia has great potential with its 100 million young and talented people, rapidly growing economies, and a digital sector distinguished by double-digit growth: "Startups can be created in Baku and expand to Almaty or Tashkent, and ideas tested in Istanbul can go to Tbilisi and Samarkand. Because innovation knows no borders."
Gasimov added that “PASHA Holding” sees innovation as a key force strengthening the region globally: “Five years ago, INMerge was just a vision; today, it is a movement.”
