Next meeting of "Green Energy Space" Sub-Working Group held

The 4th meeting of the “Green Energy Space” Sub-Working Group, established for the preparation of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027-2030” project, was held, APA-Economics reports.

Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev, who chaired the meeting, spoke about the activities of the “Green Energy Space” Sub-Working Group, established by the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 18, 2025, during the past period. It was reported that during this time, the Sub-Working Group held 3 meetings, and the Experts Group, consisting of specialists, held 5 meetings. As a result of intensive meetings, the preparation of the draft Action Plan of the Strategy, target indicators, determination of areas of activity, and funding issues were discussed. These discussions contributed to the finalization of the draft Action Plan.

At the meeting, the final version of the Action Plan draft of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027-2030” was presented. It was noted that 5 main target indicators, 7 action areas, 45 measures and 17 implementing bodies have been identified for the "Green Energy" space goal. Information was provided on the planned measures, implementing bodies, and implementation timelines for each area of activity, and discussions were held regarding funding sources for the implementation of the measures. Taking the feedback into account, the draft Action Plan was deemed acceptable, and it was decided to submit the final draft to the relevant authorities soon.
