The Chirag platform, located in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil and gas field block, has produced 106.8 million tons of oil so far (as of November 1, 2025), the Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.
24.7 billion cubic meters of gas have been produced from the platform during the reporting period.
It is noted that this year, the total production at the “Chirag” platform has averaged approximately 21 thousand barrels per day.
Recall that 28 years have passed since the first oil production began from the “Chirag” platform, which is considered one of the symbols of the Azerbaijani oil industry.
