Last year, global gas production stood at 4,264 billion cubic meters, which represents an increase of nearly 0.95% compared to the 2024 figure, APA-Economics reports, citing the International Energy Agency’s (IEA) report on the global gas market.
According to the report, in 2024, global gas production amounted to 4,224 billion cubic meters, which is 1.4% higher than in 2023. Thus, compared to 2024, the growth dynamics of global gas production slowed in 2025.
According to the agency’s forecast, global gas production will reach 4,378 billion cubic meters in 2026, which means an increase of approximately 2.7% compared to 2025.
