"We have completed the technical and economic justification for the Black Sea Submarine Cable project," Georgia's First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili stated during the 9th Ministerial Meeting / Steering Committee Meeting pursuant to the Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the Field of Green Energy Development and Transmission between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary, “APA-Economics” reports.
“Georgia has been an active participant in the green energy corridor from the very beginning, and has made significant progress in the implementation of this project, which is crucial not only for the energy and ‘green’ transformation of the South Caucasus but also for Europe’s energy security: ‘We are working efficiently with our consultant CHESI, and I am confident that their professional involvement in this work is crucial for the success of this important work.’"
According to him, the seabed survey, which will become part of the “Green Corridor” project, will be completed in the coming months.
