The Georgian authority has the intention of increasing gas import from Azerbaijan. The total volume is expected to be more than 3 billion cubic meters, APA-Economics reports citing Georgian media.
According to the information, this is reflected in the country's state balance on natural gas.
Georgia is planning to import fuel amounting to 3 bln. 217 mln. cubic meters. 200 mln. cubic meters of this will be delivered from Russia.
It was stated that, 3 billion 231 million cubic meters of gas is planned to be consumed and 99% of which will be imported.
According to the information of the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, during January-November of 2023, 2,5 billion cubic meters of gas was imported from Azerbaijan to Georgia.
