Full-scale development program for Karabakh oil field to be completed by year-end, says BP executive

By the end of this year, the preparation of the full-scale development program for the “Karabakh” oil field will be completed, BP’s Vice President for the Caspian Region, Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, told journalists, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, next year it is planned to begin seismic surveys at the field, which will be conducted throughout the year.

“After that, we will announce the specific concept and plans for the further development of the field,” Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli noted.

He added that during the development of the field, associated gas will also be produced along with oil.
