Fitch Ratings international rating agency increased its forecast for the average price of natural gas in Europe for 2024, APA-Economics reports citing Fitch.
The agency has not changed its forecast for the average price of natural gas in Europe for 2024, the agency for 2023 according to the (The Netherlands` "Title Transfer Facility" – Europe`s most liquid virtual sales center) and is at $13. (per 1,000 cubic feet).
According to the forecast, the price of gas in Europe according to the TTF index is likely to be $12 per 1,000 cubic feet in 2024, which is $2 more than the previous forecast.
In addition, the agency did not change its forecast for the price of gas in Europe for 2025 and kept it at $10.
Nevertheless, Fitch raised its forecast for 2026 from $5 to $8.
