In 2023, 39 806,9 mln. cubic meters of gas was transported via Azerbaijan’s main gas pipelines, which is 1,4% more in annual comparison, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
54,8% of gas transportation was implemented through the Baku-Tbilisi-Arzurum South Caucasus pipeline.
The gas produced in the Shahdeniz gas-condensate field is exported through this pipeline.
Thus, in the reporting period, 21 800,1 mln. cubic meters of gas were transported through this pipeline (4,8% growth in comparison to the indicator of 2022).
