Since 2023 until today, 3 million 383 thousand tons of Kazakh oil have been transported through the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, the Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov during a meeting with SOCAR president and Kazakhstan’s Minister of Energy Erlan Akkenjenov within the framework of the “Kazakhstan Energy Week,” APA-Economics reports.
The meeting discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in the fields of hydrocarbons and green energy. Additionally, increasing the transit of Kazakh oil through Azerbaijani territory, cooperation opportunities on joint projects between SOCAR and KazMunayGaz, and the implementation status of the “Central Asia–Azerbaijan Green Energy Corridor” were also reviewed.
