There has been a problem with gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Serbia and Bulgaria. Reports about this has been circulating in the European media.
It was reported that this was caused by problems in the Shah Deniz field.
APA-Economics has sent an inquiry to BP Azerbaijan about the issue. The company said that the Bravo platform in the Shah Deniz gas-condensate field is operating at full capacity.
Tamam Bayatli, head of the press service of BP-Azerbaijan, said that there are no problems with the platform.
"We encountered a technical problem in the subsea condensate pipeline between the Alfa platform and the Sangachal terminal. For this reason, we had to stop the platform. The platform, the people there, and other related facilities are completely safe," Tamam Bayatly noted.
She said that all necessary work is currently underway to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
