“Over the last year, inauguration of various residential areas, schools, and hospitals in 9 villages, 1 settlement, and 3 city centers were held in Jabrayil, Zangilan and Gubadli, with the participation of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. These residential complexes will contribute to the resettlement of people,” said Vahid Hajiyev, Senior Advisor to the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan areas included in the East Zangazur economic region, at the meeting of Azerbaijani working group on environmental issues held in Zangilan city, APA reports.
He said that Garabagh and Eastern Zangazur are green energy zones, currently, environmental protection is the main priority in large-scale restoration and reconstruction works in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan: “Great works are undergoing in this direction. Solar power plants will be built in Jabrayil.”
