Since the beginning of the development of the Neft Dashlari (Oil Rocks) field until November 1, 2025, 181.8 million tons of oil have been produced, SOCAR told APA-Economics.
14.2 billion cubic meters of gas have been produced from the field during the reporting period.
According to the information, the field is located 110 km east of Baku and 50 km southeast of Pirallahi Island. Approximately 70% of SOCAR’s oil and gas production is transferred to the shore from here.
Recall that the first exploration well in the field was drilled in 1949, and on November 7, oil gushed with a production rate of 100 tons per day. Thus, the foundation of industrial offshore oil production in the world was laid.
