Azerbaijan increases production of commodity gas

In January-July of this year, the total value of production in the mining industry in Azerbaijan made up AZN 27,5 bln. and decreased by 3,2% in comparison to January-July of the previous year, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

According to report, AZN 26 019,8 mln. of general indicator fell to the share of crude oil and natural gas production, making it 3,1% less in annual comparison.

Commodity crude oil production which is the main product of the field, made up 17 673 thousand tons, and commodity natural gas production made up 21 149 mln cubic meters.

"Commodity oil production decreased by 7,7 % in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year, commodity gas production increased by 3,3 %," says the information.

In total, in the reporting period, 17 723,2 thousand tons of oil (7,7% decrease) and 28 231,2 mln. (3,6% increase) cubic meters of gas were produced.
