In the 10 months of this year, compared to the same period last year, the production of electricity in Azerbaijan increased by 278.5 million kWh to 24,032.8 million kWh, Parviz Shahbazov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, shared on the X social network, APA-Economics reports.
Noted that export was 2357.1 million kWh, and import was 190.1 million kWh.
"In 10 months of this year, compared to the same period last year, electricity production increased by 278.5 million kWh to 24,032.8 million kWh, export was 2,357.1 million kWh, and import was 190.1 million kWh," he said.
It is reported that in January-October, 22,213.8 million kWh of electricity was produced by thermal power plants, and 1,819 million kWh of electricity was produced from renewable sources, including water.
