In January–October of this year, 22,553.5 kWh of electricity was produced in Azerbaijan, which means a 0.6% increase in an annual comparison, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
According to the information, during the reporting period, 21,800.7 kWh of the electricity produced in the country accounted for commodity output (an increase of 0.6%).
The largest share of the electricity produced in the country — 18,673.7 kWh — came from thermal power plants, which is 0.3% more than the January–October 2024 figure.
Noted that the remaining portion of the electricity produced in Azerbaijan during the 10 months of the current year was obtained from hydroelectric power plants as well as other alternative and renewable energy sources.
