Within this framework, significant importance will be given to the application of environmentally friendly technologies and the promotion of the use of clean energy sources. It was noted that important steps are currently being taken in our country toward the use of renewable energy and the diversification of energy supply. The significance of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of energy planning, signed in Baku between the Ministry of Energy and the IAEA during COP29, was emphasized, and within this framework, the current state and prospective directions of cooperation with the Agency, as well as the development of the legal framework, were reviewed. Views were exchanged on Azerbaijan’s plans in the field of “clean energy” and on strengthening partnership relations with the IAEA, and it was agreed to continue consultations.
