The Azerbaijani government and the UN will hold another dialogue on the Sustainable Development Goals, said Arzu Naghiyeva, Deputy Head of the Sustainable Development and Social Policy Department of the Ministry of Economy, during the panel discussions of the Youth-Led Climate Forum, APA reports.
Noting that since 2022, the UN National Coordination Council for Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Economy, and the UN Resident Coordinator's Office have been holding regular Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Dialogues in Azerbaijan, Naghiyeva said that the topic of the next dialogue to be held next month will be investing in education for Azerbaijan's sustainable development.
Noting that digital technologies have become the main driving forces of sustainable development today, Naghiyeva
Noting that the Ministry of Economy is actively cooperating with international organizations to develop the labor market, focus on digital skills and prepare the workforce in accordance with global digital trends.
Naghiyeva said that one of the main initiatives of the Ministry of Economy in this area is the Post-Industrial Revolution Academy, and emphasized that 10,000 people have benefited from the program free of charge so far.
"1,800 courses have been offered, and most of them cover digitalization topics such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, blockchain and cloud technologies," she noted.
