Musavat Party deputy leader Gulagha Aslanli said in her statement to APA organizers of the meeting later put it off.
“The first meeting had been scheduled for 12:00 March 2 but postponed afterwards. It was then rescheduled to take place yesterday at 18:30 but put off again without reason. For now, it’s unclear whether the meeting will take place or not. The meeting was due to be held in the CoE Baku Office,” he said.
The Baku Office of the Council of Europe did not elaborate on reasons for postponing.
Note that, the program of the co-rapporteur’s visit also includes a meeting with party leaders not represented at the parliament.
The visit will come to an end on March 4.
