Such a decision was made because the essence of the meeting is introduced in different ways, the issues that will be discussed have not been agreed on in advance, and it’s unclear based on what principles the format of the meeting was chosen, the party told APA.
According to the information, the Musavat Party appreciates the government’s initiatives to establish contact with domestic political parties including opposition parties, and to discuss the existing problems in society.
Note that, Head of Political and Public Affairs Department at the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov will participate in the next government-opposition meeting on Feb. 12.
The first meeting took place on December 13, 2014.
