Gubad Ibadoglu excluded from Musavat Party - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

Baku. Etibar Mammadov-APA. Former candidate to Musavat Party’s chairmanship Gubad Ibadoglu has been excluded form the party.

The decision was made at the sitting of the party on February 6, APA reports.

12 members of the Presidium of “Musavat” Party voted for and one member against Gubad Ibadoglu’s exclusion from the party.

Deputy chairman of "Musavat" party Elman Fattah told APA that G. Ibadoglu violated party discipline and regulations and has been excluded from the party according to the article # 1.9 of the party charter.

Gubad Ibadoglu called the sitting of the presidium “formal”: “They had weak arguments, therefore did not permit the video recording of the sitting. I waited for such a decision in advance. The order of this decision was made in advance,” said Gubad Ibadoglu to APA.

He noted that the decision about him was made by one person. “”Musavat” party is directed only by one person. An existing chairman is nominal. The decision about me was made by the previous chairman”

Gubad Ibadoglu called the decision “wrong and groundless”.
