Azerbaijan unveiled that when the process of checking and finalizing the results of the extraordinary parliamentary elections will be completed, this was reflected in "Calendar Plan of Main Actions and Measures for the Preparation and Conduct of Extraordinary Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, APA reports.
The results of the elections to the Milli Majlis (Parliament) shall be verified and finalized by the Central Election Commission no later than 20 days after the voting day.
This period covers the period until September 22 regarding with the extraordinary parliamentary elections.
Within 24 hours after compilation of the protocol on the general results of the elections, the Central Election Commission must submit the relevant documents to the Constitutional Court for approval of the results of the elections.
After receiving the relevant documents, the Constitutional Court will check and approve the results and results of the elections to the Milli Majlis within 10 days (this period can be extended if the verification process requires).
