“According to the information of the State Commission as of October 1, 2024, 3,979 people were registered as missing persons as a result of Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan,” said Ali Naghiyev, the Chairman of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons, during his speech at the international conference on "Addressing the problems of missing persons: upholding the right to know for the families", APA reports.
He said that 3,973 of them went missing in the First Garabagh War, and 6 of them went missing in the Patriotic War.
