They are Milli Majlis, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Central Election Commission. We prefer to invite the organizations directly working with the elections. There will not be any problem in inviting of observers. Organizations carried out observation mission in the previous elections will be invited to these elections too”, Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission told journalists, APA reports. He said exit-poll organizations would be announced after the start of the presidential elections. CEC Chairman said there wouldn’t be any problem with the existing electoral legislation and resources to hold democratic elections. He said they had achieved positive progresses in the society’s mind related to the elections. “It is not correct to associate all things said about the interference of local executive authorities into the election procedure. For example, there are such head of executive powers, who think that election commissions should report them about its activity. There are such authorities who know their duties. Attitude to the elections was changed. May be someone try to do something. In any case the factor, which effects on the results, is lifted and the results of electoral district are annulled”. Panahov spoke about the spreading of candidates’ posters. “Election advertisement issue has been reflected in the Electoral Code. Face of historical buildings in Baku and other cities are disfeatured with the election posters. Newspapers also expressed concern over this issue. According to legislation, special plates were prepared and are shared among the district election commissions now. Historical buildings should be protected and there shouldn’t be any protest on this issue”.
