Scandal in roundtable of Azadlig bloc

Azadlig bloc held a roundtable in connection with the amendments to the state holidays, APA reports.
Citizen and Development Party leader Ali Aliyev said that amendment concerning Days of National Renaissance, Independence and Constitution as a working days is absurd. Stating that persons fighting for Azerbaijanâ€™s independence are underwent constant pressures by the government Ali Aliyev noted that Abulfez Elchibeyâ€™s monument has not been erected on his grave.
APFP leader Ali Kerimli noted that the government had a dislike to these days before. He considered that by this tact, the government tries to raze nationâ€™s revival from memories.
â€œWe must publish a lot of books about revival and independence in response to this actionâ€?, he said.
Ex-member of Central Election Commission and Civil Solidarity Party Anver Aliyev said that â€œblack handâ€? rules Azerbaijan for 20 years and some persons betrayed during Square Movement. The trials held that time should be revealed.
â€œDuring the testimonial process Sabir Rustemkhanli gave evidence against me saying that I recommended that the people stay at Azadlig square for the evening. Thatâ€™s why the trial processes should be revealedâ€?, he said.
Chief of the Center of Legal Aid to Migrants, Sabir Rustemkhanliâ€™s brother Elovset Aliyev accused Anver Aliyev of being insincere.
â€œIf you knew about the betrayal of Sabir Rustemkhanli, why did you followed him for 15 years and worked at Civil Solidarity Party with him? You are talking about this because you are not represented in the CECâ€?, he said.
The participants did not let the quarrel to last long. Nureddin Mammedli, Nureddin Ismayilov, Hesret Rustemov, Fuad Gehremanli Evez Temirkhan also took a stance on the amendment. National Unity Party leader Lale Shovket stated that there is no serious protest and resistance to the issue.
