Azerbaijani Defense Ministry: Vusal Garajeyev will be returned to Azerbaijan

He said that the soldier crossed the border on purpose after being beaten by Azerbaijani soldiers.
â€œThe hostage does not want to go back to Azerbaijan. A day after Vusal Garajayev was taken as a hostage we appealed to International Committee of Red Cross. At present some technical issues are being settled for handing over the soldier,â€? he said.
Gukasyan said that if the soldier continues on saying that he does not want back, the separatist regime will not make him do it.
The officer of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry press service Ilgar Verdiyev told the APA that Gukasyanâ€™s words are a part of Armenian propaganda. He said that Azerbaijani soldier got lost.
â€œAt present the negotiations on hand him over are going on. Vusal Garajayev will be returned to Azerbaijan.â€?
It should be noted that Garajayev Vusal Mammad born in 1988 was drafted from Aghdam Military Registration Department and was taken as a hostage in Aghdam territory on December 7. But according to the official sources the soldier got lost. /APA/
