Kutaisi. Nizami Mammadzadeh – APA. It’s important for our government that the Azerbaijanis living in Georgia know the state language. For this purpose, a program organized by the government is underway and the government finances such projects”, said the newly-appointed Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri: “Reintegration Ministry will deal with this issue. Azerbaijanis are learning the Georgian language. We’ll always finance these programs. It’s impossible to integrate into the Georgian society without knowing the state language. We want the Azerbaijanis to consider themselves full-right citizens of Georgia. This is important for the Georgian government. It’s difficult to work in state agencies without knowing the Georgian language”.

He also spoke about taxes in the future: “We pay attention to humanization and officialization of tax legislation. We’ll not allow tax agencies entering the enterprises and holding monitoring, because after the monitoring, these enterprises stop their activity. Tax agencies must not impede the activity of enterprises, on the contrary, they must help business. If we don’t study the country’s economy and wish of the population, social and law-enforcement agencies, we can not say anything about tax reduction. I promise that for now the tax will not be increased“.

Khaduri noted that they are working on the reduction of land tax and other taxes.

He also commented on the fining of Georgian Azerbaijanis engaged in business and sales: “We believe in courts. The courts must be free. A commission will operate on this issue and the Member of Parliament Tina Khidasheli will head this commission. The separation of the court from politics is very important for us. There should not be political influence on it”.
