- You are one of the persons, who participated in the establishment of the Union of Azerbaijani Organizations in Russia. How much did you support the establishment of the organization, are you supporting this organization?

- I support every organization established with the support of Azerbaijanâ€™s President and Azerbaijanis living in Russia. If an organization prepares a plan against Azerbaijanâ€™s President, I am against it. I have supported the establishment of this organization.

- What can you say about the Azerbaijani media reports that the Union of Azerbaijani Organizations in Russia has been founded by the order of the Kremlin?

- These reports are groundless. The Kremlin has nothing to do with the newly-established Union of Azerbaijani Organizations in Russia. The Kremlin has its own problems and tasks. The Union of Azerbaijani Organizations in Russia is not yet a big organization. Therefore, it is still early to speak about it.

- What made it necessary to establish the Union of Azerbaijani Organizations in Russia? There was already All-Russia Azerbaijanis Congress. Was there a need to found a new organization?

- All-Russia Azerbaijanis Congress began to weaken. Therefore, if an organization grows weaker, efforts are made to establish a new organization to substitute it. We are not satisfied with the activity of All-Russia Azerbaijanis Congress. This necessitated the establishment of a new organization.

- It was announced that the Union of Azerbaijanis Organizations in Russia had suspended its activity. What can you say about it?

- This organization had not done anything yet. Thatâ€™s why, I do not understand the reports that the organization has suspended its activity. Who can suspend the organization that has not started functioning?

-Reports have spread that the Union of Azerbaijani Organizations in Russia has suspended its activity till chairman of the organization Abbas Abbasov meets with President Ilham Aliyev.

- I am unaware of it.

- How do you evaluate the activity of Azerbaijani Diaspora in Russia and the Azerbaijanis living here?

- Azerbaijani Diaspora in Russia is weak. The activity of all organizations, both old and new ones is not satisfactory. They are very weak. Unlike Jews and Armenians, Azerbaijanis cannot reach mutual understanding. The Azerbaijani Diaspora fail to make influence on anything in this country.

- Will the Union of Azerbaijani Organizations in Russia continue functioning?

- I do not know. I cannot say anything now.
