President Ilham Aliyev: Azerbaijan will ensure its territorial integrity using all factors, including the army factor

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. â€œTo ensure Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity is one of the most important forthcoming issues,â€ Azerbaijanâ€™s President Ilham Aliyev said at the Third Congress of the World Azerbaijanis, APA reports.

Noting that international organizations passed resolutions on the settlement of Karabakh problem, President said these documents are not fulfilled due to Armeniaâ€™s unconstructive position.
â€œYerevan must understand that Azerbaijanâ€™s potential can not be compared with Armeniaâ€™s capability. Azerbaijanâ€™s economic potential is ten times more than Armeniaâ€™s economic potential. Armenia has no power to compete with Azerbaijan. Azerbaijanâ€™s military expenditures are 50 percent more than Armeniaâ€™s budget,â€ he said.

The head of state underlined that the international legal norms also support Azerbaijanâ€™s position concerning the resolution of the conflict.

President said that the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict is in the interests of both Azerbaijan and Armenia.
â€œThe mediating countries also state that the status quo is inadmissible. Azerbaijan will continue the negotiations. Armenia knows very well that they are guests in Nagorno Karabakh. The Armenian state was established in the historical Azerbaijani land â€“ Irevand and Zengezur. The Turkic world was geographically separated, as Zengezur was given to Armenia,â€ he said.
