Department chief of Presidential Administration: â€œThis congress will be a start of new level in the life of the world Azerbaijanisâ€

Reminding that it was the 3rd congress, Hasanov said that at previous congresses, the world Azerbaijanis were tasked with strengthening the solidarity, union, organization, turning into the active force in the socio-political life of their countries, to propagandize Azerbaijani statehood in these countries: â€œAs one of the steps taken in this direction, was the establishment of the State Committee on work with Diaspora in 2001. The committee has conducted important works towards the organization of the world Azerbaijanis, uniting around one single idea, establishment of relations between them and with the Azerbaijani stateâ€.

Hasanov said that the congress would focus on the achieved and unachieved issues. PA official said the speech of President Ilham Aliyev was expected at the congress.

Reminding the adoption of the Charter of the World Azerbaijanis, Hasanov said that the main strategic duties of the of the world Azerbaijanisâ€™ activity were determined there: â€œThe debriefings will be held around it. The reports will contain what was achieved till that day, and which works we are expected to do after thatâ€

The department chief expressed hope in the successful finish of the congress.
He said that the resolution and the various appeals would be adopted in the congress.
