Events on 19th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy to be held in Germany

Baku â€“ APA. German-Azerbaijani Culture Society will organize an event on the 19th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy in Magdeburg, Germany on February 26, press service of the State Committee on Diaspora told APA. About 50 representatives of Azerbaijani, Turkish, Jewish and other communities will attend the event. Member of the Christian-Democratic Union of Germany S. Springer and director of Global Development GMBH Alexander Mishalcuk will make speeches on Khojaly genocide. Documentary on Khojaly tragedy will be screened at the event.
German-Azerbaijani Culture Society will also organize an event in Schenebeck on February 19. Boxing and kickboxing tournaments will be held in Schenebeck in memory of the Khojaly tragedy victims.

The Congress of the European Azerbaijanis will hold a conference on Khojaly tragedy in Frankfurt am Main on February 26. The representatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora organizations in Germany will attend the conference. Turkish Consul General to Frankfurt am Main Ilhan Saygili, member of the scientific Board of History Institute of Azerbaijanâ€™s National Academy of Sciences, professor Kerim Shukurov, political analyst Johannes Heinrich, Azerbaijani parliamentarian Rovshan Rzayev will address the conference.
