MP Sabir Rustamkhanli addresses to Azerbaijani Turks living in Iran

The letter reads that after the war between Russia and Gajar realm, on the basis of Gulustan and Turkmanchay agreements Azerbaijan was divided into two parts: â€œThis political division can never separate us; we speak in same dialect, sing same songs, cry for same elegiesâ€¦
In the 20th of last century, with the help of super powers who want to separate Turkic World, Iranian thousand years of power was overthrown and handed over to Persians. Nevertheless, 35 in Iran and nearly 10 mln Turks live in Azerbaijani Republicâ€.

Close relation between Iran and Armenia condemned in the letter and Azerbaijani Turks have been called to protests against the policy of this state: â€œFor 22 years, Iran feeds Armenia and helps this countryâ€.

Attracting attention to violation of human rights in Iran, Rustamkhanli noted that tyranny and injustice would not last till the judgment day: â€œFortune of Iraq, Afghanistan show that waiting happiness, democracy, justice from outside is ridiculous and perfidy. But despotism, tyranny, illegality, trampling of national and human rights led by emir, shah, king, ayatollah, president, prime minister will end one day! We believe that we will liberate our lands from Armenian occupation and establish Entire, Independent, Democratic, Developed Azerbaijan on our historical territoriesâ€
