Center for Strategic Studies works on book â€œHistorical, social, political and cultural activities of the Azerbaijanis in Turkeyâ€

Baku â€“ APA. The Center for Strategic Studies under Azerbaijani President is working on a new project. The Center told APA that they are going to publish a book â€œHistorical, social, political and cultural activities of the Azerbaijanis in Turkeyâ€. The book will cover detailed information about the political, economic, military, cultural and social activities of the Azerbaijanis in Turkey.

The publication of the book aims at studying profoundly by modern historians the common history of the two states, one nation, obtaining detailed information about the Azerbaijanis in Turkey and uniting them under a common idea. The studies show that the number of the Azerbaijanis is increasing in Turkey. The new-generation Turkish Azerbaijanis are facing some problems. The book will study these problems, find the ways of their solution and be a guidebook for the Azerbaijanis living in Turkey.

Sociologists, historians and political analysts will work on the book. They will visit the circles of the Azerbaijanis, areas densely populated by them in Turkey, meet with them, study archives, religious, social, cultural, political and economic activities of the Azerbaijanis.

The work on the book â€œHistorical, social, political and cultural activities of Azerbaijanis in Turkeyâ€ will be completed in 2011.
