Artificial intelligence must be used taking into account the interests of all states, Turkmenistan's Minister of Culture Gurbanmyrat Myradaliyev said at a special joint session of the 3rd High-Level Meeting of International Organizations and the 6th Ministerial Meeting within the framework of the Baku Process, APA reports.

He stated that Turkmenistan considers a responsible approach based on international law, trust and consideration of the interests of all states important in the application of artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies.

"Artificial intelligence and digital technologies create broad opportunities for economic development, improving the efficiency of public administration and enhancing diplomatic tools. In the digital age, increasing media literacy, ensuring reliable digital and cultural content, and providing equal access to knowledge for everyone, including young people and residents of remote areas, are of great importance. Turkmenistan's state policy is aimed at preserving national values and passing them on to future generations. Education and youth participation play a special role in this regard. Young people participate in environmental initiatives, the restoration of historical monuments, and cultural and tourism projects."

The minister also noted that Turkmenistan is developing humanitarian cooperation with the UN, UNESCO, UNICEF, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international and regional partners.

He emphasized that intercultural dialogue requires sustained joint efforts to strengthen peace, solidarity and mutual understanding among peoples.
