Baku Declaration to be adopted in 6th Conference of Culture Ministers of Islamic countries

ISESCO Secretary General Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, who is in Baku within the framework of the 6th Conference of Culture Ministers of Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), and Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev held a press conference, APA reports. ISESCO Secretary General appreciated the conference in Baku.
“I think our talk around the first table covers all interests. From the on, we will switch to the working days of the conference and continue our work. There are a lot of reports among the presented documents. These reports are the summary of the work done by ISESCO and we will inform all the ministers here,” he said.
Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri said the most important document to be adopted in the conference will cover cultural tourism among Islamic countries.
“Baku was declared Capital of Islamic Culture in 2009 and has coped with this task,” he said.

Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev said Baku declaration will be adopted as the continuation of the Baku process approved last December. The Minister underlined that the decisions to be adopted in this declaration will be added to the Baku process. A special provision on historical-cultural monuments destroyed in Nagorno Karabakh and Al-Quds will be added to the declaration.
