The possibility of transferring S-400 systems from Türkiye to a country friendly to Russia is on the agenda, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, relevant work is being carried out in this direction and appropriate contacts are underway.
Some time ago, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that it was possible to transfer the S-400 systems in Türkiye to a third country friendly to Russia, but that no such request had been made. He emphasized that Türkiye could not transfer the missile system to a third country without Russia’s permission.
