The Kremlin has not commented on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's message to Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding his continued support for Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has spoken in this regard, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, there is no point in commenting on this: "Because these statements are made every day by representatives of various European states. They intend to continue their destructive line and provocation. We are continuing a special military operation to achieve all our goals."
"Of course, it makes sense to continue contacts, there is always a sense to resume them. The President has repeatedly said that he remains open to dialogue in terms of achieving our goals," the Kremlin spokesman said, answering a question about whether there is any point in contacts with Scholz after his statements of support for Ukraine.
Scholz said on X that he will announce further military support for Kyiv amounting to €650 million ($683 million) during talks with Zelenskyy.
