Aleksey Chadayev, an advisor to the Russian Minister of Transport, has decided to leave his post after the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan put him on the wanted list, he wrote about this on his Telegram channel, APA reports.
"I do not consider it right for someone's personal expert position or public statements to affect interstate cooperation and create obstacles to the joint activities of countries," Chadayev said.
The former advisor also emphasized that he had simply expressed his personal expert opinion. He noted that he is deeply informed about the issues of unmanned aerial vehicles, technological sovereignty and related political processes.
Chadayev added that the Russian Ministry of Transport is currently working on the development of the "North-South" transport corridor, and this program is also being implemented in Azerbaijan.
He said that he will continue his activities in the same direction.
