United States President Donald Trump shared a map depicting an expanded US territory that includes areas belonging to Canada, Mexico, and Greenland on Monday, APA reports.
The posts come after Trump moved last month to rename Lake Ontario "Lake America," with an executive order subsequently formalizing the change. The president previously floated the idea of Canada becoming the 51st state, while continuing to push for Washington's control over Greenland, stressing that the territory is vital to American national security.
In a separate Truth Social post, Trump shared an image that showed the state of New Mexico renamed to "New America."
