Russian MFA: â€œWestern powers instigate Syrian opposition for armed struggle

â€œOur Western partners havenâ€™t made efforts in organizing dialogue between the opposition and the government. In other words, they instigate the continuation of armed opposition. Itâ€™s clear that itâ€™s impossible to achieve the peace and to reduce the crisis using such methodsâ€ declared the Ministry.

The Ministry stressed that the last official document adopted by the Syrian Operation Group in Geneva includes the cooperation between the members of the group, their efforts in making the opposition and the government to work together and the influence on intensification of national reconciliation process. The document says that this week, taking the leadership according to the principles adopted in Genevaâ€™s document, APA reports quoting Russian mass media that Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared that to reduce the crisis with such methods would be impossible.Russia will propose to adopt declaration by â€œOperational Groupâ€ in New York city, US for temporary stoppage of armed fight going on between the government and the opposition, for appointment of the representatives and the calling the sides for the official dialogue: â€œBut our western partnership didnâ€™t declared the probability of adoption of such declarationâ€.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Russia fulfils its liability with its consciousness. The work for stoppage the armed fight between the opposition and the Syriaâ€™s government is continued.
