The administration of US President Donald Trump is exploring the possibility of creating an incubator aimed at investing in cybersecurity research and creating startups focused on developing tools for government needs, APA reports citing Bloomberg.
According to their information, the White House Office of Cybersecurity is preparing an executive order to establish a program for research and development in cyber technologies that "meet U.S. government priorities." To implement the program, the American government intends to attract private investors, among other things.
The decree also provides for the creation of a cybersecurity academy, which will combine several existing state programs for specialists in this field.
It is still unclear whether the American leader will sign this decree and in what time frame this might happen, the agency indicates.
